1:48th Floorboard Paper

A really good colour for floorboards.

I've usually made floorboards using brown paper but it's a bit of a labour of love, like cutting your own roof slates or skirting boards - takes a looong time and often doesn't look that great - although I have to say my stone slab flooring can be quite effective. So I've been trying out buying floorboards, but some can turn out to be alarming colours and effects. THESE floorboards are the right colour for used, dusty boards. The sheet, cut into three sections, looks like it might be hard to cover enough area, but they go a surprisingly long way - I've just used ONE SECTION to do the floors of a small cottage. It is a bit on the bijou side...but I've still got two used sections left of one sheet. And the price is really good for this wee piece of perfection. So, if you're tired of ruling line on brown paper and wondering where the shading and the joins should go, this is an excellent alternative.Mrs Jeanette S Crowe (%29 %b %2021, %11:%Sep)
