Piece of cake

This was my fifth build over two days and after five was the easiest. I used the instructions for the base and the front porch after that it was obvious. Everything fitted perfectly. The staircase is a great feature but its very important that you use a straight edge to ensure it's true. I used a metal ruler for this and it made it really easy. Also its better to fit the upper internal chimney breast before fitting the lower. This way you can ensure that they line up perfectly.Neil Carter (%06 %b %2017, %19:%Dec)

Loved it!

This was my first foray into 48th scale so I was a little nervous......but I needn't have been! Instructions are super clear (once you've taken a bit of time to work out what is what within the kit). With help from Bea's excellent book and lots of time and patience I am absolutely delighted with the end results. I have really enjoyed working in this scale and have asked for a second kit for Christmas! I would only ask for PP to start selling some 1/48th scale lighting accessories to really finish things off as I'm struggling to find a supplier for these!Jo Tearle (%11 %b %2015, %13:%Nov)

Pumpkin cottage

I've just finished building this delightful little cottage. Instructions were very clear although I found it useful to identify each piece and make a dry run of the stairs beforehand. Also Bea's tips were helpful. I would highly recommend it.Elaine Fisher (%10 %b %2015, %15:%Feb)

Pumpkin Cottage

This was a lovely cottage to build. I used your paints all through and was very pleased with the whole look. As I added lights and flickering fires I had to change slightly the order of construction but it all worked in the end due I'm sure to your clear instructions.
