Lovely little cottage
I was great fun building this little precious. Just as I was looking for on my 0 scale model railroad, small, it has character and blends in the scenery perfectly. As with all PP products it is solid designed and the parts fit together without tolerance. More cottages and houses are on order.Robert Stuart (%02 %b %2019, %23:%Aug)
Cute but bijou
This is a seriously cute cottage. It is also seriously wee. Small. Little. Bijou. Normally, because I have no self-restraint, I stick the walls to the floor/s, apart from the one at the front. I do the floors and the interior walls....and then I go for the fun part, the furnishing. Afterwards, I do the outside and roof. But I have to do what I'm told with this one and paint/texture all the inside surfaces BEFORE I stick anything. Access is limited once it's stuck. If you're going to make it a two-room cottage, there is a problem, as there's no door in the interior wall, so your tiny folk will be nipping out of the front door and climbing in the window to go to bed. But you can always fake one in. The rest of the kit is nicely constructed, a wee bit like a jigsaw, with walls clicking together and porches that attach through holes. It means that you can't change the layout much, but it's good the way it is. I LIKE it. Could be a traditional cottage, either seaside or rural. A but and ben, with a lean-to out the back and a shed....for the tractor/boat/granny/workshop. Could be a back-to-nature hippy home. Or a wee spooky ruin.... Lots of possibilities and, so far, fun to put together.Mrs Jeanette S Crowe (%09 %b %2019, %19:%Jul)
