This is indeed a large surround - don't guess - read the measurements if you are unsure or if you have size requirements for a specific room. I didn't look at the measurements, and it was a bit larger than expected. However, I ended up putting into a really large room setting that had huge windows and this fireplace fit right in. My sofa and chairs look great in front of it. I printed out a brickback pattern for it, but all black would look so good...or herringbone. The ledge has just enough space to put a little vase of flowers or lean a framed picture. It is a good fireplace as is - but of course, you can do many things to make it yours. Love these kits as always. Cannot go wrong with this fireplace at this price.Anonym (%29 %b %2016, %21:%Nov)
